I am searching for ancestors in Northampton County, NC. My great great great grandmother Emma was a slave of Matthew Ransom (wife Martha "Patty" Exum). She was a slave of Exum's and went with Martha when she married Matt Ransom. Some of her children were Daniel, Mary, and Ned.
Mary Ransom (my great grandmother) married Matthew Walker from VA.
Searching for any information relating to Ransom, Sykes, and Hollomon.
Benjamin Sykes maried Emma Hollomon (Harmon).
