   Up until now there have not been automatic notification of replies to messages posted here. I've just added a plugin though that should give an option for getting email notices when someone answers a post that is in your favorites. (When viewing a discussion you should see a link on the left above the first post to add a discussion to your favorites.)

   I've also added a plugin to automatically add discussions that you start to favorites. I'm hoping this will give you the opportunity to get an email when someone answers you. I'm in process on testing this right now and will post back results.

   Okay - it looks as though threads that YOU create will be automatically added to your favorites.

   In order to receive an email when someone follows up to your post, here's what you will need to do.

   Look at the top of the page for the text that says "View Your Profile". (Click this)

   Now, click on the text that says "Edit this Information" (should be underlined)

   Look for "Favorite Notification" and where it says "If you want to get an email when there is a new post to a topic in your favorites."

   Check the box below that text, scroll to the bottom of the page and click okay.

   I MAY make it such that this is the default behavior.

   I'll also be creating a second account and posting to this thread to test it out.

   Okay, here is the bottom line. Yes you can now get an email response to your forum posts. You will have to make a thread or discussion your favorite first and modify your profile as described above to get email notifications.

   If you need me to enable the email notification in your profile. I can do that here if you want - just post in this thread.

   Also, for some reason my first attempts here wound up in my junk folder, so make sure to check your junk folders just in case.
