Surname "RICH"

    I am conducting a family tree/genealogy research and find that a large number of my direct ancestors migrated to, lived, married and died in Caldwell and Watuga County from the very early 1800's and in fact many still reside in Caldwell county and general vicinity.

    I am inquiring if you have any documents and/or any photographs on the surname "RICH" and/or how to possibly locate any family history on my ancestors both living and deceased in the area.

    I note there is a Rich family Cemetery in the county; however, there are no records I can find on any burials in this cemetery.

    Anyone having any history on the "RICH" family, and are there any other organizations or individuals who I might contact for assistance?

    I noticed 2 obits for people buried in a Rich family cemetery. Services for both were conducted at the Hudson Church of God and Pendry's funeral home was the funeral home. Hudson Church of God has a website (http://www.hudsoncog.com/) with an email for the pastor. Don't know if you'd want to email him and see if he knew where the cemetery was located or had contact information for it. Pendry's funeral home might be another option.
